The History of PLAR

This paper, authored by Paul Zarkos and Ron Conlon (2019), delineates the history of PLAR. The paper “represents an attempt to trace the evolution of PLAR from its earliest beginnings to the present day and to examine its strengths and weaknesses and the challenges to fully implementing it in educational systems, communities and workplaces. This is not an academic research paper but rather a list of significant events from a practitioner perspective that have taken place over four decades.
