The CoL is a participant-driven space, open to anybody interested in PLAR/RPL. CAPLA facilitates the sessions, but the community shapes them. This is a safe space where we can discuss, share and support each other in the PLAR/RPL work that we do.
If you are relatively new to the PLAR/RPL field, come and benefit from collaboration with seasoned PLAR/RPL practitioners—it’s a great opportunity to network and find the support you need.
If you are a more established PLAR/RPL Practitioner, CoL is a great place to discuss your work with like-minded colleagues and to share and find potential answers to issues and challenges in your service delivery. Sometimes we have brief presentations to hear about our colleagues’ work and we always have small group discussions. Only presentations are recorded – notes and other resources shown during discussions are passed along to the CAPLA team.
“This is my favourite meeting of the month. I get to nerd out on PLAR/RPL with a fantastic group of professionals, who are incredibly generous in sharing their expertise. It’s a wonderfully safe, supportive and creative place to learn and grow from my colleagues.” Andy Brown, CAPLA Board Chair.
