The qualification profile for validation experts serves to adequately and universally represent the knowledge and skills central to professional validation practice, as well as the professional values. It provides a common reference for key areas of activity or roles in validation (consulting, process support, assessment, coordination/management) as well as for different validation contexts (labor market, professional field, education system, voluntary sector, etc.). At the same time, it is open to develop different professionalization instruments and specific validation procedures based on it. The qualification profile is intended to create a reference and basis for the professionalization of validation in Austria, which is applicable both across fields in the sense of a common standard and context-specific for further specification in different fields of application and procedures.
